Kensington Expressway Crash Results in $3.4 Million Settlement in Wrongful Death Case
Three people were tragically and suddenly killed when the intoxicated husband slammed into the barriers separating the Kensington and Scajaquada Expressways.

The occupants had all been at a wedding reception at the Radisson Hotel in Cheektowaga. The intoxicated driver, who was underage at the time, had been served numerous alcoholic beverages by hotel staff. A Dram Shop action was commenced against the hotel for unlawfully furnishing alcohol.

Following jury selection, the defendant agreed to pay a global settlement of $3.4 million, most of which was allocated to the couple's surviving children.
