Wrongful Death Case Caused by Medical Error Settled for $2,400,000

The patient went to the hospital for an outpatient mylegram to determine the level and extent of spinal problems. To perform a mylegram a contrast is injected into the spine. The hospital technician chose the wrong medicine and failed to verify what he was injecting. The patient suffered seizures and died.
The case settled before trial for $2.4 million.
